Spring Fever…

Spring Fever is hitting me hard at the moment. Just spent two weeks of back-to-back travel in warmer locations (San Fran and New Orleans) where I could walk around without a coat and go for a run outside (imagine that...)

Then I get home to MPLS. I am certainly very happy to be home (missed the family a great deal), but I really wasn't too happy to spend an hour chipping away at the ice on my front steps this weekend. Today it's back to 27 degrees (which isn't too cold considering what it was a couple of weeks ago) and I'm just having a tough time staring out my window at the snow.

A heat wave is coming later this week (almost up to 40!) which will be nice, but the mid-50s to mid-60s that I've been working with the last two weeks makes 40 seem not quite as impressive.

The seed catalogs started showing up this week as well. Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds has this glorious full-color catalog with lots of big pictures of fresh vegetables and flowers (must be doing OK for themselves..) and it makes it really difficult to wait for the Spring thaw. Poor me. Whiner...
